Solar Driveway Lights

solar driveway lights - blue

Solar driveway lights can be embedded in your driveway to provide free lighting all year round. The photo at the left shows a beautiful blue light, but there are also available in red or green.

They automatically turn on at night and off in the morning and can withstand up to 20 tons of pressure, so no need to worry about running over them with the car!

The LED lights last up to 7 hours and can be seen at a distance of up to 400 yards!

One of the best features of this kind of technology is that they’re so easy to set up. Previously if you’d wanted to add driveway lights you’d have to run power lines underground or under the pavement, then extra wiring to a switch inside your home. But since they’re solar powered, there’s no need for wiring!

Places That Need Solar Driveway Lights

  • dangerous corners and blind sharp-curves
  • poorly lit areas
  • locations with unpredictable weather (wet and rainy regions, coastal roads, foggy areas, etc.)
  • intersections, on and off ramps, center lines and dividers, entrances with warnings, cross and side walks
  • bike and pedestrian lanes
  • on ships and other watercrafts
  • entertainment areas, hotel entrances, parking lots, gas stations etc.

Heavy Duty Solar Driveway Lights

Industeq, Inc. produces these extra strength solar driveway lights — they have a 30 ton rolling rating and are visible from half a mile away!

They charge all day and as soon as their sensors fail to detect sunlight, they automatically activate, staying illuminated until sunrise. Each daily charge can last up to 24 hours, so even on extremely cloudy days they are able to retain charges stored up from the previous day, ensuring a constant source of light.

Pictured is the constant blue style, but they are also available in constant amber, white and yellow. They also have one type that pulses: flashing amber.

Each of these models has life span of three to five years depending on the charge rate. A great product for situations that require brighter and durable solar powered lights!
